In the beginning it was a village but now it is a developed colony surrounded by other colonies of the areas such as Abul Fazal, Noor Nagar, Batla House. There is a garbage house near Okhla Head bust stand which gives very bad smell because it gets clean once or twice in a week, also the road condition of Okhla Head bus stand is very bad from the last few years.
